Q: How are taxes handled at Vinewood Market?
A: Payment of Kansas Sales Taxes are the responsibility of the vendor. By law, all vendor information must be provided by the event organizer to the Kansas Department of Revenue. The Kansas Department of Revenue provides the following link with the proper form to report your sales tax receipts to the Kansas Department of Revenue: https://www.ksrevenue.org/pdf/CTE-50.pdf (This form is good for all special events and shows in Kansas.)
- No food or beverages may be sold without explicit permission from The Vinewood. The Vinewood will have one or two food trucks available on site during the event as well as a cash bar selling water, soda, beer and wine.
- No outside alcoholic beverages are to be brought on the grounds and consumed during event hours per Kansas Liquor Laws. All beverages are to be purchased through The Vinewood and you must have a valid ID.
- Garbage cans and dumpsters are located to the west of the building. Vendors are expected to clean-up and pick up all trash, keeping the grounds clean at all times; leaving their space as good as it was on arrival.
- The Vinewood is not responsible for injuries or lost or stolen goods. Security is provided for the overall grounds and event, but this does not relieve the vendor from being responsible for all their merchandise.
