Q: What are the hours?
A: Public hours are Saturday 8am – 4pm and Sunday 8am – 2pm.
Vendors are expected to be set-up and ready to sell by 8am Saturday morning and to not load out ’til 2pm Sunday afternoon. Vendors will be able to start setting up as early as noon the Friday before the market. Due to the grounds, setup, parking and safety–vendors will not be allowed to load out until 2pm Sunday afternoon.
Q: Is there camping allowed on the grounds? Where do I stay if I’m traveling from out of town?
A: There is no camping permitted on The Vinewood property. We are not set-up for camping. Grills are not allowed and there are to be absolutely no fires.
ACCOMMODATIONS: We recommend the following over-night accommodations. These must be reserved on your own; The Vinewood is not affiliated with any of these properties–they are simply our suggestions.
LAKE SHAWNEE CAMPGROUNDS
Lake Shawnee has 123 campsites including handicap accessible, RV, electrical, shower facilities, pet-friendly and more. The Vinewood is located just East of 29th and West Edge Road (map), campgrounds are located just on the other side of the lake, approximately one mile. Campground map
Deer Creek Valley RV PARK
Just 1.5 miles north on SE Wittenberg Rd is Deer Creek Valley RV Park. The secured RV Park includes a swimming pool and local favorite LonnieQ’s BBQ which is open for lunch and dinner.
SENATE SUITES, RAMADA INN OR CYRUS HOTEL in Downtown Topeka
Downtown Topeka is located off the highway just three exits west of The Vinewood. There you will find several hotel options including Ramada Inn, Cyrus Hotel and Senate Suits.

Q: Cost, Refunds, Rollovers / Rain Dates
A: The event is free to shoppers. Vendors must reserve a vendor space prior to the market. Sizes and rates vary.
There are no refunds or rollovers for vendors. There are no scheduled rain dates.
Q: May I bring fido?
A: No. Sorry.
Q: How are taxes handled at Vinewood Market?
A: Payment of Kansas Sales Taxes are the responsibility of the vendor. By law, all vendor information must be provided by the event organizer to the Kansas Department of Revenue. The Kansas Department of Revenue provides the following link with the proper form to report your sales tax receipts to the Kansas Department of Revenue: https://www.ksrevenue.org/pdf/CTE-50.pdf (This form is good for all special events and shows in Kansas.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- No food or beverages may be sold without explicit permission from The Vinewood. The Vinewood will have one or two food trucks available on site during the event as well as a cash bar selling water, soda, beer and wine.
- No outside alcoholic beverages are to be brought on the grounds and consumed during event hours per Kansas Liquor Laws. All beverages are to be purchased through The Vinewood and you must have a valid ID.
- Garbage cans and dumpsters are located to the west of the building. Vendors are expected to clean-up and pick up all trash, keeping the grounds clean at all times; leaving their space as good as it was on arrival.
- The Vinewood is not responsible for injuries or lost or stolen goods. Security is provided for the overall grounds and event, but this does not relieve the vendor from being responsible for all their merchandise.
